This US-based band is on the top shelf for technicality and progressive music.
Power of Omens’ songs are well-structured and often feature different movements, while always displaying musicianship like I’ve only rarely seen elsewhere. The now defunct band has released two amazing albums: The Eyes of the Oracle in 1998, and their masterpiece Rooms of Anguish in 2002.
The song below is off the latter and is certainly one of their best – it’s epic, memorable, and just jaw-dropping!
