In between binging Kayo Dot records, Cerpin’s latest addiction has been none other than the queen of art pop herself – quite fitting given that my last review was of Iceland’s answer to Kate Bush. Since it’s been so long since the last installment, too, I thought the best way to celebrate this woman’s work would be via a new ‘Beginner’s Guide To’ flowchart.

Not only do I implore you explore Kate Bush‘s discography – I demand it.

Many progressive rock fans would look more towards Kate Bush‘s colleagues David Gilmour or Peter Gabriel as their idols in the genre, but Kate Bush’s groundbreaking experimental approach to pop music and artistry in music is far more ‘prog’ than people care to admit.

A Beginner’s Guide To: Anathema (2017)

Almost a year and a half after the first one, I bring you a redesigned, brand new flowchart to one of my favorite bands – Anathema! Had to update it to include their latest record, but started from scratch since giving the band only one starting point didn’t feel like the right choice, so changed it to three. Plus, now I used a more, uh, professional tool rather than MS Paint so it looks nicer. And finally, included a little bio about them.

In lieu of the hype for Dream Theater‘s new album ‘The Astonishing’ and our taste of the song ‘The Gift of Music’, I’ve decided to celebrate 30 years of DT history with a ‘Beginners Guide to Dream Theater‘ – a flowchart for any budding proghead to easily navigate through their expansive discography at their own leisure.

WARNING – this infographic is both satirical and based on my own opinion, so please take it with a pinch of salt – it’s just some lighthearted fun. Hell, I made it in MSPaint, it’s hardly gospel.
